Mission
Our mission is to provide positive humane training and educational opportunities for the general public and to enable people with similar interests to come together and enjoy a variety of social and training activities with their dogs.
Programs
2 programs
Dog Event Programs - TCOTC held 12 AKC Agility Trials, 3 AKC Obedience Trials, 1 NAFA Flyball Tournament and 2 Agility Seminars in 2024. Competing in dog events helps students and other dog owners to evaluate their dog's skills and gives them the opportunity to earn titles. We also hold a number of educational seminars each year and offer open training time. The public is welcome to attend these events to compete and to learn more about dog training and how their dog can benefit from such activities.
Rentals To Other Dog Organizations - TCOTC rents to other dog organizations that don't have a facility of their own. By doing this, we can provide the public and dog community with a wider range of dog activities than is possible to do on our own. 2023 rentals included 7 NAFA Flyball Tournaments, 2 AKC Obedience Trials, 1 CDSP Obedience Trial, 1 UKC Obedience Trial and 1 4H event. We also rent to a number of smaller organizations for flyball team practices, meetings and special events.
