Mission
The vision of the twin lights historical society is to create one of the foremost centers in the united states for interpretation and education related to lighthouse, maritime, navigational and communications history. The mission of the society is to engage the public and foster a broader understanding of the historical role played by the twin lights in maritime navigation and wireless communications. The society will continue to elevate this national historic landmark site and define its place in scientific and popular culture through the physical and virtual expansion of the museum and its collection, education outreach and interpretive programs, and a state-of-the-art improement initiative.
