Tyler Area Builders Association

Parade of Homes - The 2024 Parade of Homes featured 29 newly constructed homes in the Smith and Cherokee County Areas. Attendees had nine days to explore homes and products of some of Tyler's premier builders and subcontractors. A portion of the ticket sales was donated to Kingdom Life Academy, and North Tyler Academy.

Education Courses - In 2024, TABA hosted a variety of educational events. Offerings included certification courses offered by the National Association of Home Builders' University of Housing, seminars sponsored by the Texas Association of Builders and local workshops. Class topics included Financial Management, Sales & Marketing, Contracts, Social Media, Quickbooks 101 and a range of other topics. The COT Building Services Department hosts 4 yearly Lunch & Learn events for updates and education on the building codes.

Directory/Newsletter - The newsletter is published once a month and emailed to each of TABA's members. A directory of members is published annually in print and daily online.

Home Products Show - for 2024, TABA made the decision not to hold the Home Products Show.
