Higher learning community and outreach supportchicano latino alumni legacythe event consisted of a five-day alumni gathering, structured in a conference format, which included the formal opening of the chicanx latinx student center at the university. Additional activities included a gathering for female-identifying alumni and students, a welcome address from the uc berkeley chancellor, curated alumni reunions, academic presentations by faculty and alumni, a fundraising gala, and a scholarship brunch.alumni engagementclaa alumni engagement includes the planning and execution of regional alumni events organized by member chapters. These events included an alumni hike, a reception for new uc berkeley admits, eight networking events, the 2022 legacy kickoff celebration in los angeles, somos berkeley welcome parties in east bay and los angeles, an educational workshop on voting during the 2022 election cycle, among others.
