Uhd technology certification programs by developing and maintaining its unique certification mark, and processes to evaluate and recognize products that conform to the specifications, and to promote the specifications and corresponding certification by identifying certified products on the applicant's website and in press releases, at trade shows, and in other marketing materials and venues, for the mutual benefit of consumers, the applicant's members and the industry more broadly.

Implement uhd technology certification and testing protocols, products and services, by contracting with authorized testing lab(s), who use applicant-created specifications to independently evaluate equipment and media to determine conformity with the specifications.
