The mission of the Uma Center is to advance the health and economic development of underserved communities through education, programming, and advocacy.

Outcomes and Impact The UMA Center reached 41,360 people in 2024 in the Tulsa Metro Area through various media channels and hosted 204 community events. We served 1,247 unique clients with physical and mental health screenings, classes, wellness coaching, and technical assistance.
Entrepreneurial Education and Technical Assistance Programs We assisted over 150 small business owners and entrepreneurs through classes and technical assistance, graduating 31 individuals from cohort-based programs and providing 446 hours of technical assistance, both individually and in groups. We hosted two business fairs to promote program graduates and other community entrepreneurs, which attracted approximately 4,000 people.
