Umatilla Chamber Of Commerce

The umatilla chamber of commerce & visitor center was formed to actively promote local and regional businesses by providing opportunities and platforms where our members connect for the benefit of the community. The chamber uses social media (web page, facebook primarily) to accomplish this, in addition to newsletters and free local public radio. Membership services: the chamber business outreach activities have included: grand opening/ribbon cutting ceremonies travel oregon membership for the purpose of tourism strategic planning attend and promote business luncheons web site development seminars. Annual events supporting the community and local business base include: landing days (founders day celebration) distinguished citizen banquet. Halloween on 6th street (coordinate a downtown business driven event for the community) the chamber also hosts community forums, most notably city management staff hiring and city council election public forums.
