NeighborWorks Umpqua is a new partner with Business Oregon's Economic Equity Investment Program to help disadvantaged and underserved communities in Southwest Oregon build financial resilience through financial education, financial coaching, and Resilience Matched Savings Accounts. This new program helps clients who have never accessed our services feel welcomed.Our specific client targets are low-income Native American tribal members, low-income Hispanic community members, and low-income residents living in our affordable housing. Our coaches will meet participants where they are at in their banking and financial skill-building journeys. The ResilienceMatched Savings component will offer participants a 5:1 cash match for participants saving $250 ($1,250 match) or $500($2,500 match).
