We nurture the next generation of ocean stewards by providing free surf therapy, environmental education, and long-term mentorship for underserved youth.

GeneraciÓn sea: youth climate academy program this 10-week bilingual climate science academy engaged 24 high school students in hands-on environmental learning. Youth led their own capstone projects, participated in coastal and watershed fieldwork, and worked alongside scientists and community leaders to understand binational environmental justice issues and resilience strategies
Oceanside ocean stewards program: this place-based, after-school program is designed for 8th graders at lincoln middle school,located in an opportunity neighborhood of oceanside. Students meet three times weekly for surf safety training, environmental education, team-building, and leadership development. In 2024, participating students demonstrated improved gpa, reduced tardiness, and decreased suspensions, reflecting the programs positive impact on youth engagement and behavior
