The Call KC/Uncover KC creates positive social change by connecting compassionate individuals with local organizations in need of their time and energy. The Education Initiative will improve Clay County's overall health - mind, body, and soul - by increasing active community service among its youth. The grant will fund a dedicated staff person to manage weekly volunteer efforts through Liberty-area groups such as Liberty Hospital, Liberty Public Schools, and William Jewell College with the goal of filling 2,000 - 3,000 volunteer opportunities and improving the health and quality of life of those in the community.
