COMMUNITY BENEFIT RESTRICTED GRANT

$66K
Unidos South OC is a faith-based community service organization supporting under-resourced families in south Orange County, California. SRM provided resources under the oversight of UYWI to provide three different camp experiences for 107 campers in 2024. One grant had 35 of their youth join with four other youth groups to actively participate in a weeklong residential summer camp called XLR8 in the mountains near Yosemite. Another grant let 24 of their younger children join with two other youth groups for an adventure day camp near their homes. The third grant provided 48 of their youth to participate in a snowy weekend camp in the mountains of southern California. All three camp programs provide outdoor experiences that grow life skills, character, relationships, and faith.
