Mission
The Union Foundation's primary exempt purpose is to impact its surrounding community in a positive manner by generating funds and services to improve the lives of the community and community's assets it serves. The foundation accomplishes its purpose/mission through partnerships with the Union Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio and other charitable organizations and person's to provide food, clothing, health education and welfare, financial literacy, and family cohesiveness resources to the Southwest Ohio region. In addition, the Foundation actively seeks to help in other causes that would fall in line with our mission. These other endeavors include academic scholarships for youth, historical preservation of African American Cemeteries, and other benevolent endeavors

Archival Grant from the National Parks Service awarded to improve, catalogue and digitize the records of the two historic African-American cemeteries ..the Union Baptist Cemetery and the United American Colored Cemetery. Both located in Cincinnati, Ohio
Greater Cincinnati Foundation Environment Grant. This grant was awarded to improve the grounds of the Union Baptist Cemetery.
