The department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is staffed by at least one board-certified physician. The emergency department provides medical screening exams and evaluations, as well as treatment to patients presenting with illness or injury ranging from minor health incidents to life-threatening situations. Uniontown Hospital had 45,232 emergency room visits in 2024.
