Early intervention program - the early intervention program offers services and interventions that enable chldren and families a more independent and integrated lifestyle within their community. It is a comprehensive program for infants and toddlers between the ages of birth to three years with developmental delays. Over 400 children and families a month reap the benefits of early intervention. United ability has become the largest provider of early intervention services of its type in the state.

Adult day habilitation - the adult day program is designed to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. Each individual has the opportunity to select the training and services they would like to receive. Eligibility criteria require a diagnosis of a developmental disability and the ability for the program to meet the individual's needs. In addition, each person must demonstrate manageable behavior, reside in the greater birmingham metropolitan area, and be at least 21 years old.
