United Cerebral Palsy of Eastern Connecticut's mission is to advance the independence and full citizenship of people with disabilities.
Programs
6 programs
UCP specializes in Residential Supported Living Services. We provide services to individuals living in their own home in the community to enable each person maximum independence while providing them with person-centered support. UCP's supported living services include a cluster setting with on-site support and emergency on-call assistance. Health care coordination services are available.
UCP's Assistive Technology Program serves several hundred individuals with disabilities annually by providing an array of services, tools, and technology to help people with disabilities in CT improve their independence and quality of life.
Inclusion and Advocacy - Provide information, referral and financial assistance to people with disabilities who are low income to help them meet their basic needs and live as independently as possible.
Food Pantry
Employment - Provide training and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities so that they can obtain competitive employment.
Community Nurse - Provide delegated nursing training to direct support professionals working for other agencies.
