To improve relations among the various chinese societies in the state of hawaii; to promote projects of benevolence, charity and cultural awareness; and to promote the welfare of the chinese communities.

Other program expenses ucs continues to gather data from member societies and publish the red book directory as a resource to all member organizations. Other events are lunar new year parade; ucs tea reception; annual family day picnic where members of all societies are invited to bring their family for fellowship and cultural fun; mid-autumn moon festival; installation of officers and trustees; nextgen workshop is for young people age 18-40; ucs seminar series workshop and culture workshop.
