The second program area is legacy grants. The Foundation acts as trustee and administers funds for the benefit of local churches and church related ministries and missions. It manages and administers endowment funds of the Foundation and distributes earnings. It evaluates grant requests, selects qualified recipients, and makes disbursements to qualified recipients. In general it supports the church's evangelical and social service programs, aims, and purposes of the United Methodist denomination in Indiana.
The third program is the Loan and Savings Ministry. The Loan and Savings Ministry provides funding to United Methodist and other Wesleyan-based churches and agencies in Indiana to purchase, build, or repair projects related to their church buildings and parsonages.
