United social services of the society for ehtical culture, inc. ("uss") is the social service arm of the new york society for ethical culture (the "society"), which is a seperate affiliated organization. For over 70 years the uss's mission has been addressing the practical problems of living faced by the most disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals within our community, uss is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code.
