Mission

The mission of United Virginia Enterprise Foundation (incorporated as United Virginia Education Fund, Inc.) is to develop enterprises of under-resourced entrepreneurs through peer-to-peer support (social capital), mentorship and training (intellectual capital) and lending (financial capital). We operate as a social enterprise ecosystem builder, working to connect individuals to the appropriate community programs and resources. We also offer direct counseling to support the start-up and growth of purpose-driven enterprises as an Affiliate Partner of SEA Change. We operate the Virginia Chapter of the Social Enterprise Alliance and produce training programs including a Social Enterprise Accelerator program for under-resourced enterprise owners. We will produce two programs in 2025 with funds received in both 2024 and 2025.
