Housing - united way is working with partners across all sectors of the anchorage community developing and implementing programs with the goal being that all anchorage residents are housed financially stable and have the opportunity to increase their income and save for their future. When individuals or families are in financially precarious positions their health is impacted as well as their opportunities - being unable to afford healthcare or education options that could advance their career can keep them from achieving financial stability.
