Iredell Housing Fund: Launched in early 2024, the Iredell Housing fund provides coordinated efforts to increase the supply of affordable housing available in Iredell County through joint action, grants awarded to housing provides, and home owner occupied repairs for individuals at 80% of less AMI. In its first 6 months this initiative helped more than 30 individuals either stay in their homes or become first time homeowners in Iredell County through our partnering agencies.

Capacity & Collaboration: UWIC launched several services to support the impact and efficiency of funded non-profit partners. This includes a shared volunteer recruitment platform (HIVE), 2-1-1 information and referral services, doordash delivery services for food and diapers, Longest Table community engagement events, and shared training opportunities.
