We engage community members from all sectors to come together to create positive change and invest strategically in the programs and coalitions that will have a strong impact on current needs and future challenges.

Children's success: united way of lane county strives to prepare children to succeed in school and life. Education programs work to improve school readiness, provide parenting skills and support through training and an on-line website, kits, kindergarten readiness program; early learning alliance; early education programs; preschool promise; quality preschool for low income families; lanekids; reduce child abuse and engage the entire community in caring for our children. United way of lane county endeavors to create healthy and stable families by investing in programs designed to increase access to stable housing and addressing food insecurities, supporting medical, dental and mental health services, and access to preventive care.
