Community Impact - United Way North Central Florida serves as fiscal agent for the University of Floridas Campaign for Charities (UFCC). Funds raised through UFCC are primarily designated to local nonprofit agencies. United Way processes these donations and distributes them to the designated agencies on behalf of UFCC. United Way also distributes donations to nonprofits who have been designated a gift through any workplace payroll deduction campaign.
UWNCFL Programs - United Way North Central Florida operates a variety of programs benefiting the community. These programs include the 211 Helpline, ReadingPals, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), Alachua County Campaign for Grade Level Reading, FEMAs Emergency Food & Shelter Program (EFSP), Disaster Relief & Recovery, and several assistance funds providing help with rent and utilities.
