United way of north idahos mission is to improve lives in our community. We do this by engaging individuals and organizations in our community in a way that is meaningful to them through volunteerism, financial contributions, or leadership.

Child care provider support: united way of north idahos educational funding and collaborations reach pre-k and school aged youth to engage and develop a future workforce and strong community. Internally, our efforts are focused on school readiness and early grade reading. Investments have been made in improving quality education centers and increasing capacity.
Community care fund: united way of north idaho invests in high performing programs and services that align with its strategic priorities of education, financial stability, and health. The community care fund is funds directed toward quality local programs that benefit communities in the five counties it serves. Funding is granted to nonprofit organizations through a competitive application process.
