Health (nutrition, medical care, therapy, counseling,safety, socialization): funded programs and services include transitional shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, abuse, or homelessness; free wrap-around services, including counseling, medical evaluations and exams, and victim advocacy for children and families impacted by sexual abuse; nutritious meals, socialization, health, and companionship events and services for senior citizens; community health and safety programs and blood services; subsidized participation in health, wellness and fitness programs for needy families, matching and mentoring programs for children and teens from one-parent/ guardian or otherwise struggling families.

Education (school readiness, academic support, development): funded programs included school-based mentoring and after-school services, tutoring and homework assistance; character development, leadership and life skills programs; arts, drama, recreation and physical fitness programs; abuse prevention programs for community, schools, and child victims of sexual abuse; anti-bullying, body safety and parenting classes; and summer youth development, leadership, and enrichment programs.
