United Way Of Union County Inc

United way of union county allows donors to desgnate gifts to other united ways or specific agencies. Organizations receiving donor designated contributions through united way undergo screening prior to distribution of funding. Such screening includes verification of compliance with the provisions of the patriot act and verification of current status as an irs code section 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.

The united way of union county maintains two separate grant funds that enable it to provide additional community support. There is a venture grant fund that can be used for a wide variety of programs as long as they coincide with the united way's mission, meet accountablity standards and are a tax-emampt organization. The other grant fund is earmarked toward youth education, arts and recreation programs that meet the same standards. This also includes internal programs such as community care day. No funds were used in 2024.
