Other program services: workforce development, whire services, and otherworkforce development: we believe people need skills, training, equipment, reliable transportation and childcare in order to advance their career opportunities.in 2024, our funded programs provided the following services:25 people received tuition assistance for adult education14 people received industry credentials13 boot vouchers and other needs were met to people who needed this to obtain employmentwhire referral linethis program provides free information and referrals to people in need in holmes and wayne county. It also provides printed resource directories for senior citizens and people who are homeless.in 2024 we answered more than 2000 phone calls on our first call for help hotline. More than 120 appointments for free tax preparation and 400 older adults registered for senior assistance.form 990, part iii, line 4aprogram service accomplishments:safety netwe believe people need food, shelter and clothing in order to be positioned for improvement.in 2024, our funded programs provided the following basic needs to people in holmes and wayne counties:18,368 meals were served to hungry people. 67 families received emergency shelter10,016 nights in shelters were providedform 990, part iii, line 4bprogram service accomplishments:youth developmentwe believe children need safe, stable, active and fun environments to learn, grow, adapt and succeed.in 2024, in collaboration with our funded programs provided the following services for children and families:5,603 children received free books to improve literacy67,236 free books were given to children1003 children were given before/after school tutoring247 children received scholarships to campsform 990, part iii, line 4cprogram service accomplishments:health/mental health/substance abuse treatmentwe believe people need access to health care, mental health care and substance abuse treatment in order to improve their overall chances of prosperity.in 2024, our funded programs provided the following services:more than 3,500 hours of 1:1 case management was provided2,245 hours of mental health counseling was provided to people with mental health counseling600+ people were treated for substance abuse
