Promote education and engage in literary pursuits, aid worthy students in institutions of higher learning, and render charitable benefits, assisting charitable organizations.

Educational dinner and luncheon meetings were held on a scheduled basis during the year. Speakers included well-known professionals in their field. Meetings were open to the public and had an average attendance in excess of 100 people.
Other educational and literary activities were held during the year for which club operational or overhead costs cannot be readily allocated. Attendance at many of these programs was open to the public. Over 40 activities were available to the membership.included were: literary interests, book reviews, writing classes, foreign language groups, classical music appreciation, history, and current events. These activities were lead by club members. In addition, the university club of winter park provides, free of charge, the use of the building for the showing of art by local artists for a period of two months on a rotating basis.
