To Provide life and vocational skills training to people with disabilities.
Programs

Provide supported employment opportunities for developmentally disabled adults throughout san diego county in a variety of occupations. Contract services - individuals can work at unyeways production center on a variety of light industrial jobs that include product assembly, labeling, packaging, etc. Individuals develop their work skills in a professional environment and participate in paid work activities. Group services - individuals can work in the community with peers at a variety of different businesses who have partnered with unyeway, inc. Work is generally scheduled five days and 20-40 hours per week.
Day program options offered at a 1to4 staff to consumer ratio - unyeway, inc. Also offers adult development center program and community based program options at a 1to4 staff to consumer ratio. Our adult development center 1to4 program is similar to the adult development center 1to3 program, except that the nursing programs are not offered. Instead, a retirement and social community and leisure component, an outdoor work area at the lakeside site only, as well as a traditional center based program are offered. The community based program 1to4 is different from the community based program 1to3, the primary focus of the 1to4 program is on participation in work activities and volunteerism.
