Upaya Organization For Contemplative Activities

The corporation is organized as a charitable organization as defined in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as the same may be amended from time to time, or the corresponding provision of any future united states internal revenue law (the "code"). The corporation's primary purpose is to present training programs in several contemplative disciplines, bringing together traditional wisdom of the contemplative spiritual traditions, in particular buddhism, and modern western wisdom and professional disciplines.
