The uplands science & technology foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research foundation whose mission is to support the vitality of the westgate@crane technology park. The board is assisted by advisors from nswc crane and various regional, state, and national partners to ensure cross-sector alignment, strong communication, and the deployment of best practices in technology park development.ustf's primary purpose is to:- facilitate the transformation of westgate into an innovation community,- lead the technology park's development strategy by managing and coordinating the park's real estate assets and development process,- drive new activities and attract new firms and talent in emerging technology areas like microelectronics, artificial intelligence, and hypersonics, and- create a unique regional hub with a distinctive sense of place.
