To vet, fund, and build capacity for community-led initiatives and grassroots organizations doing impactful work within our sectors of support in Afghanistan and with Afghan refugees worldwide.

Uplifts Cultural Preservation Fund provides fellowships and scholarships to Afghan artists and cultural producers to continue their work, build upon their countrys knowledge, and preserve its cultural heritage. This fund supports projects aimed at documenting and archiving Afghan cultural practices and narratives that preserve cultural memory.

Uplifts Education Fund supports access to education through curriculum development, teacher training and salaries, educational technology platforms, and collaborative partnerships between local and international organizations.

Uplifts Refugee Resettlement Fund provides evacuation and resettlement services for at-risk Afghans. These services include sustainment, housing, transportation, visas, and resettlement and acculturation support once they reach their host country.

Uplifts Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Fund supports organizations committed to protecting and empowering Afghan women/girls, children/adults with disabilities, and ethnic/religious minorities within the Afghan population. Projects in the current year focused on menstrual hygiene, mental health services, womens shelter, livelihood support and training, and support for women-led NGOs.
