Uprise Collective

Disability justice collaborative - a collective of and for sick and disabled folks, centered in the portland area but largely virtual. Programming includes monthly coffee hours to support community building and knowledge/resource sharing, a quarterly speaker series to demystify the systems that support disabled people, and emergency preparedness programming for sick and disabled people.

Organizational learning - uprise believes that change happens best by working both within and outside of systems. Organizational learning is about working with organizations to advance liberatory practices and to center bipoc and qt/bipoc among staff and service users.
