MAAME - Continued work with black and brown birthing families, fighting for better access to comprehensive and inclusive medical and community care; launched a community clinic. Focused on Durham NC. Reach: at least 800 families directly, whole county and neighboring counties indirectly.
Rainbow Collective for Change: builds safe, equitable, just and affirming spaces for LGBTQ and gender diverse families and children. Rainbow Collective for Change uses human centered design and multi-sector collaboration to develop and implement creative strategies to raise a generation of anti-racist and LGBTQ and gender inclusive people. At least 1750 individuals were directly impacted by RCC in 2024 through creative story hours, playgroups, trainings, technical assistance, book giveaways, and more.
