Just be u program ("jbu"): in partnership with the county of san diego - behavioral health services ("bhs"), urban street angels operates the jbu program as an innovative supportive housing program for homeless tay in the community. The 15-bed jbu program provides supportive housing and wraparound case management, along with an array of holistic / allied health care services, for tay who have an extended history within the san diego region's acute care and justice-related systems.similar to other programs operated in partnership with the county of san diego - bhs, tay eligible for the jbu program must meet the following essential criteria: individuals between the ages of 18 - 25 years old who are experiencing (or at risk of experiencing) homelessness. Additional eligibility criteria includes: qualifying smi dx, along with a history of recurring use of the region's emergency, acute care systems and/or justice systems. During their up to 120-day stay in the jbu program, tay have access to an array of recuperative, integrative, and holistic wellness services, including acupuncture, chiropractic care, cryotherapy, fitness classes, massage therapy, and nutrition / wellness counseling and support.
Youth homelessness demonstration program ("yhdp") | joint - th/rrh program: in partnership with the regional task force on homelessness, the yhdp | joint - th/rrh is a hud-funded program that currently provides 12 transitional beds and six (6) rrh beds in the san diego region. This program is part of broader multi-site partnership that provides wraparound case management, linkages to educational and workplace opportunities, referrals into long-term housing options, and an array of related services for tay experiencing homelessness in the san diego region.
Urban street angels also operates several programs that are supported by earned revenue contracts, including the organization's short-term and bridge housing program ("stbh", a county of diego - bhs program that provides approx. $625k in annual revenue), the housing our youth program ("hoy", another county of san diego program with the ymca of san diego county as contractor, urban street angels as one of five subcontractors, providing approx. $445k in annual revenue), the safetay program (privately funded by the lucky duck foundation, providing approx. $75 - $125k in annual revenue), and the ye program (a cal-oes program, with san diego youth services as contractor, urban street angels as one of several subcontractors, providing approx. $45k in annual revenue), along with social enterprise and trade school programs (privately funded, with approx. $125 - $150k in annual revenue).
