The u.s.-china new perspectives foundation the "foundation" is organized as a washington dc nonprofit public benefit corporation organized and operated for charitable scientific and educational purposes described in section 501c3 of the internal revenue code the code in furtherance of such purposes the foundation will 1 educate the american and chinese people about the important relationship between the united states and china the united states asia policy and other current issues in the asia pacific by publishing research papers on such topics; and 2 provide opportunities for scholars and current and former government officials from china and the united states to discuss current issues important to united states and china relations. The foundations educational activities will improve bilateral relations between the united states and china and provide opportunities for the people of both countries to deepen their understanding of this important relationship.
