Hiv counseling, testing, and referral services - us helping us has navigation. Us helping us also provides community-based education about prep and has several research studies to understand mechanisms to increase prep uptake in key populations. Developed an innovative integrated screening model that incorporates hiv testing using rapid testing technologies with testing for other sexual transmitted infections, including gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis and hepatitis c. Testing is completed in 30 minutes and is completely confidential. Individuals with reactive tests are linked to the 3,721,197. Appropriate treatment and/or care, including onsite std treatment. Individuals with a reactive hiv test are linked to hiv care within 72 hours. Finally, individuals and members of priority populations of high need are referred to prep and other essential support services.

Research - us helping us currently conducts several studies to understand the factors that impact hiv transmission and acquisition behaviors among marginalized communities, including black sexual minority men, black heterosexual women and persons involved with the criminal justice system. These studies are also designed to understand the factors to improve the retention in and adherence to hiv prevention and treatment services. Us helping us ensures the protection of human subjects in all of its studies and ensures that details are provided to potential study participants and study volunteers provide written (or in some instances, verbal) consent.
