TRAVEL: Much of our travel is to Washington, DC ti communicate with lawmakers on our issue and attain our mission. Some of that travel is helping inventors get to DC to tell their stories to lawmakers. Some travel is to different events around the country where our purpose is to communicate our issue and gain allies who will help us achieve our mission. When we have a rallie, it will require our own travel and often the travel costs of inventors who we help to get there to be part of the rallie. Any rallie is to make our issue known, gain allies for our mission, and convince lawmakers to help us attain our mission.

RESEARCH: To work toward our mission, we have to have information on matters like what is happening in the world of patent litigation, what cases are being won and lost , what the infringers are doing to game the system, what are patent holders doing that is successful, what bills are proposed and what are the details of these bills and how will they affect our members. When there is a Supreme Court decision in our area, we have to be able to explain it in details to our members. To work toward our mission, we have to be as knowledgeble as possible regarding anything that affects patent rights. There are legal services that provide this information for a fee.
