Public relations program: use various public relations campaigns and media platforms to promote the benefits of private mortgage insurance to policymakers, mortgage market participants, and borrowers, including that the industry facilitates borrower access to affordable and sustainable mortgages within a well-functioning housing finance system.

Regulatory program: identify, analyze and provide recommendations to state and federal regulatory agencies on policies pertaining to private mortgage insurance and the housing finance system. Coordinate with member companies on outreach to state departments of insurance and federal financial regulators to promote a strong housing finance system and ensure private mortgage insurance industry is well positioned to ensure access to mortgage credit while protecting taxpayers.
