Mission
The us partnership for assured electronics (uspae) is in business to provide the us government with a trustworthy electronics supply chain in conjuction with its members. This supply chain aims to holistically meet the needs of the government and performs functions such as r&d, manufacturing, and assembly of advanced electronics.

Membership is a combination of our annual membership dues from all consortium members and fees collected from our annual membership meeting attendees.
Darpa harden is a dod program awarded to university of illinois urbana-champagne for which uspae was the primary subcontractor. Scope that uspae and its subcontractors completed included a detailed study in the design and manufacture of a pad based commercial tablet utilized by dod for mission support. This study was primary focused to understand potential risk and vulnerabilities as result of component supply from and manufacturing located in geopolitical adversary countries.
Dec management was part of the 2021 initial government funding to create the defense electronics consortium public-private partnership and maintain it through 2023.
