USA Rice's Government Affairs Department represents the advocacy arm of USA Rice, influencing the Federal Government and Regulatory Agencies to implement legislative and regulatory policy that is favorable to the growth and profitability of the U.S. rice industry.

USA Rice's Domestic Promotion Department increases the domestic awareness and usage of US-grown rice and rice products with consumers, food-service industries and Federal food policy initiatives to benefit U.S. rice marketability.
