Mission
Outfit wounded service members and disabled veterans on the sled hockey and standing hockey teams with all protective equipment and skates for standing participants, and sleds of non-standing participants. Continue to replace worn equipment for these players. Many of the players are still patients recuperating from their injuries at walter reed army medical center(wramc). Several participants, relocated to other areas in us after completing their recuperation at wramc, took their equipment for use in their new communities. Scheduled donated or rental ice for participants to learn to skate, practiced skating and ice hockey skills, and scrimmaged other ice hockey groups/teams. Identified volunteer coaches/mentors who are willing to donate their time to assist our teams participants with developing their skating and ice hockey skills.
