The objective of this project is to establish an electric vehicle (ev) corridor collaborative across eight states in the intermountain west region. This corridor will facilitate the seamless movement of evs and contribute to the growth of ev adoption. The project will reduce greenhouse gas emissions (ghgs) with renewable regional alternative fuels, increase the availability of charging infrastructure, improve mobility choices and accessibility for rural communities as well as technical training for those workforces, and facilitate strong partnerships among stakeholders for a more cohesive and integrated approach to clean transportation development. The project will involve organizations across the following states: nevada, colorado, arizona, utah, new mexico, idaho, montana, and wyoming.
To electrify transportation systems in the intermountain west with a focus on building electric vehicle (ev) infrastructure along critical corridors, ensuring fast-charging availability every 50 miles, and supporting both urban and rural electrification.
