Utah Juvenile Defender Resource Center

Utah juvenile defender resource center (the "corporation") has been organized, pursuant to the utah revised nonprofit corporation act (the "act"), as a non-profit corporation to operate exclusively for the promotion of social welfare, solely and exclusively in the interest of the general public, which is exempt from income tax under section 501(c)(4) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended (the "code"). Specifically, the corporation intends to (i) provide pro bono, low-cost, or otherwise affordable legal services to juveniles; (ii) instruct and educate the public on subjects relevant to juveniles and their communities; (iii) conduct research or provide education that would benefit juveniles; and (iv) provide instruction or training for the purposes of improving or developing defense representation of juveniles.
