Mission
Improve educational opportunities for music educators and students in the state of Utah.
Programs
4 programs
All State Music workshops for students to work with national music conductors and educators in learning challenging music for public performance. Includes intercollegiate band performances.
Convention music educators conference, workshops, displays, teaching ideas, technology and development for teachers Approximately 600 people attend the convention each year.
State Music Festival. Provides opportunities for High School music groups to compete with each other and themselves. Awards are given for best performance groups.
All other service programs, including Journal, State Marching Band Clinic, etc.
