Great salt lake: great salt lake has a unique ecosystem that has already begun tocollapse because it's drying up. The lake plays a vital role in the quality of lifeand standard of living of utahs. Uphe works with state leaders and the localcommunity to engage and make the public aware of potential enviromental problemsthat the shrinking great salt lake will bring with it.
Air purifiers: uphe is doing education and outreach to utah schools about air qualityand hepa air purifiers. We work with principals, other educators, and the localcommuniy to engage and make the public aware of the potential environmental problemsrelated to air quality. We are working with utah schools to place hepa air purifiersin every clasroom. Children spend around 900 hours a year in school, and the wallsare not enough to filter out the pollution surrounding them.
