Vallecito Nordic Club Inc

Vallecito nordic club (vnc) is organized for the purpose of providing groomed nordic ski trails for the public to enjoy on the east side of vallecito reservoir, at the community of vallecito in la plata county colorado. The lands groomed are a combination of u.s. Forest service and bureau of reclamation lands. The vnc operates through donations from it's members and sponsors; and with the cooperation of the above federal land agencies and the pine river irrigation district. The volunteer grooming provides 10 -15 kilometers of skate and classic ski trails for winter recreation opportunities on public lands, this trail system provides for a healthy winter outing for locals and visitors to the area.
