Valley Junior Athletic Association Inc

Valley junior athletic association inc is a non-competitive youth sports league for children ages 4 - 16 in the valley of syracuse, ny interested in playing baseball, soccer and basketball when offered. Enrollment varies from 175 youth interested in playing baseball to 350 youth participating in playing soccer. The baseball season operates february through august. Soccer season is from april through october. Basketball season operates october through april. The overall purpose is to help the youth learn the sports rules and how to play in a team setting without the stress and pressure of needing to always be the winning team. Valley junior athletic association inc is utilizes the coaches and parents to help the youth learn the games through encouragement of not giving up but reinforcing the youth that the next time will be better as they practice more.
