Judy Welsh Foster Youth Transition Fund:Partnered with VOMCF Jan 2024. VOMCF, along with Gino and Tony Medeiros, are honored to establish The Judy Welsh Foster Youth Transition Fund in loving memory of Judy Welsh. This fund is a tribute to Judy's enduring legacy and compassionate spirit, especially towards young adults transitioning from the foster care system into adulthood. This fund is to help Foster Youth who are not currently enrolled in the VOMCF Scholarship Program.

VOMCF Foundation Grant Program:The VOMCF grants funding to programs that share our common goals and further strengthen our collaboration with agencies and individuals in Sonoma County. This has increased our ability to avoid duplication of services and has narrowed our focus to achievable, actionable programs where we can measure the outcomes and better serve our children while in the home, and former foster youth located in Sonoma County through a myriad of services and programs.

Critical Needs Fund: A critical need is defined as an unexpected event or financial need that interferes with a students ability to continue their studies. For example, a car breakdown, needing dental care, an unforeseen medical emergency, etc., VOMCF awarded $20,411.87 in critical need funding.Valley of the Moon Children's Center (VMCC) Dental Program:The VMCC Dental Program has served 981 children since 2011. Many of these children have never been seen by a dentist or hygienist before. They are taught proper oral hygiene and are now able to smile again. In 2024, 47 new patients were seen as part of the dental program.
