The purpose of Valley Senior Living Foundation is to seek and accept philanthropic gifts to perpetuate an endowment fund and to support services that enhance the care of the residents of Valley Senior Living.
Programs
3 programs
We identified a need for interior renovations at Tufte Manor. Proceeds from Myra Foundation grant and other designated funds were utilized for the project.
We identified a need for spiritual care when the first Valley Senior Living facility opened 100 years ago. We believe spiritual care is important in the lives of our residents. These funds were used to help continue the chaplaincy program for all residents, family and staff. Valley Senior Living employee two full-time chaplains and also has two flex chaplains.
Other program services included funding a number of items and programs that enhance the quality of life for the residents. Records are maintained to track designation of use by donor for a specific facility and/or program.
